About Carter Johnson:

Carter joined the Digital Installers team in early 2026, bringing a strong technical foundation as a graduate of CSULB with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Like many of our team members, he thrives on the technical challenges of modern home integration and has a natural "Go Beach!" connection to the company’s roots.

For Carter, the real excitement of the job is seeing a project through its entire lifecycle. While most people only see the sleek, simple interface of a finished smart home, Carter’s expertise allows him to visualize the complex architecture hidden behind the walls and deep within the software. He takes pride in knowing exactly how every wire and line of code works together to create a seamless experience.

When he isn’t optimizing high-end systems, you’ll find Carter embracing the Southern California lifestyle. Whether he’s catching waves in Huntington Beach, hitting the mountain bike trails, or heading up to the snow, he stays just as active outdoors as he is on a job site!
