This project came to us through Durant Construction and it's our second collaboration with this client. His company, Laserfiche, based in Long Beach, previously built a home designed to host interns and international employees — a project we were proud to be part of. After seeing the quality of our work, he reached out once again to include us in the remodel of his personal residence, with Durant leading the build.

We installed a Control4 automation system to bring everything together—lighting, music, entertainment, and security—all from one easy platform. Touchscreens around the house make it simple for the client to control lighting, music, cameras, and even the outdoor heaters. We added Lutron tensioned skylight rollers for smooth and precise light control. To enhance the design, we installed Proluxe linear lighting surrounding the skylights, creating a soft glow that highlights the ceiling details and adds depth to the room. The client also envisioned a custom light-up center table, and we made that vision a reality by integrating Proluxe linear lighting inside the table, adding a modern, one-of-a-kind touch. We also included DMF ceiling lights for balanced illumination and Aispire landscape lighting outdoors, bringing warmth and showcasing the home’s exterior design at night. Throughout the home, Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers deliver rich, balanced sound. The outdoor speakers were painted black per the client’s request, matching the space perfectly. We also included Amina invisible in-wall speakers for areas where the client wanted great sound without visible equipment. In the living room, a Samsung Frame TV fits perfectly with the home’s design, while the media room features a Sony TV for a more immersive entertainment setup. Outside, we installed five Infratech heaters, all connected to Control4 for easy temperature control. For security, we integrated Turing cameras and a Control4 video doorbell, giving the client peace of mind with convenient access from anywhere.
